Communal Purim Seuda, March 12th 2017

A Communal Purim Seudah, or festive meal, which will also include megilla readings and entertainment, will be taking place at the The Westville Synagogue on Purim Day, Sunday, March 12th . This is an independent collaborative community event, sponsored by Congregation Bikur Cholim Sheveth Achim of New Haven, Congregation B’nai Jacob of Woodbridge, Congregation Or Shalom of Orange, Temple Emanuel of Orange, The Orchard Street Synagogue of New Haven, The Westville Synagogue of New Haven, and The Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven. The event is open to the entire Greater New Haven Jewish Community, and individuals can attend even if their synagogue is not an official participant.

There will be 2 separate afternoon megilla readings at 4:00 pm, and then we will all join together at 5:15 pm for the kosher, catered meal, where MC/DJ Charles F. Rosenay!!! Will provide entertainment and kids’ programming. Earlybird Registration (deadline: Tuesday, February 21 st ): $24 per adult or teen (ages 11+), $14 per child (ages 5-10), no charge for children under age 5; Late Registration (deadline: Monday, March 6 th ): $30 per adult or teen (ages 11+), $20 per child (ages 5-10), no charge for children under age 5.
